Welcome to CATFLAP MUSIC, my name is Meryl and I would like to tell you about my music.

I started writing songs in 1998/99 I won local a talent show and as I love music, I decided to see if I could make song writing my career. I began with series of one-off songs at the Sheppey Little Theatre where I had been performing and singing on stage, these were well received then, when a fellow member of the theatre was looking for the original songs to go with a script he had written, we got together and formed CATFLAP Productions.

Most of my current and previous work is listed on my Portfolio Page aswell as samples of from productions such as Barnacle Betty and samples of current release TIDES OF MAN by Donna Jarvis where all proceeds go to The Asia Tsunami Appeal.

At this point I would like to thank the businesses who have supported my musical endeavours. These include Gatefield Sounds, Tesco, Just PC’s, Brittain & Hobbs and Woolworths and a special thank you to Cyclone Music Productions Ltd, Scotmore Creative Ltd and Delga Press Ltd for making CD “THE TIDES OF MAN” possible as well as Donna Jarvis who has a lovely voice and has vocalised many songs for me including "The Tides Of Man"

£566 was raised for BBC Children in Need with donations and the song i had written "I'll Light the Way. This was vocalised by Hannah and her father Fraser, we appeared on the BBC Children in need programme on Friday 18th November 2005.... MORE INFO

will sung by Donna Jarvis will be available from myeloma.org.uk, The CD will be sold for £4.00 which includes P&P, £3.00 of which will go to the Jack Rosenthal Memorial Fund. Maureen Lipman established this fund to help support the work of Myeloma UK of which she is a patron.
